S.T.R.A.P is a Ugandan Hiphop artist from Kampala, Uganda that is currently based out of Kansas.

 

As a child he was heavily influenced by Nas, Fugees, Pete Rock, JDilla and Reggae acts such as Bob Marley, Burning Spear and Peter Tosh. S.T.R.A.P began writing rhymes at the age of 11 and gradually transitioned into battle rapping as a teenager.

 

He then moved to the US in 2008 to attend a University and, during Christmas break, recorded his first song with his cousin Paul Nyakatura. The rest was history...
